Prodege peeq determines and adjusts the cost of a project using the Real-Time Pricing engine, which adjusts the cost per complete based on your account's rate card and the performance of the project.
What is Real-Time Pricing?
Real-Time Pricing monitors the average incidence (IR) and median time it takes to complete the study (LOI) and adjusts the cost-per-complete (CPI) accordingly depending on the project performance at the time. Pricing adjustments, whether automatic or manual, are not retroactive and are applied only to new completes.
What is my Current CPI?
The Current CPI is the pricing at which the most recent completes are being collected at.
How is the CPI calculated?
On project setup, the CPI is calculated based on the estimated IR and LOI entered in the Project Info page.
Once a project is launched, and respondents begin completing the survey, peeq will adjust the CPI of incoming completes based on the project performance.
If you are not sure what the IR and LOI will be, we recommend starting with a more conservative estimate, as peeq will lower the pricing if the IR/LOI is better than expected
What if my project's performance is better than estimated?
If a project performs better (higher IR, shorter LOI or both) or improves from targeting or survey changes, the CPI of new completes can decrease, saving on project costs.
What if my project's performance is lower than expected?
If peeq determines the CPI should be higher than the Max CPI, the project will be paused automatically and issue an alert to the project manager(s) on the project, preventing budget-overruns.
How do I see the CPIs of each complete?
For a detailed look at the CPI of each complete, you can Export the Stats from a project to see the cost of each complete.
Pricing approvals
To approve a revised CPI, click the link in the email provided or click on the approval in the project itself. Once approved, the project will be automatically set back to LIVE and continue sampling with the approved new CPI as the Max CPI.
