URL placeholders, sometimes called parameters, appends or variables, allow for additional information from the Prodege panel to be piped into a survey URL by simply adding the URL placeholder in the appropriate part of the URL during survey link setup.
Placeholders can pipe in profiled panelist information such as age, gender and zip code and additional data such as sample source, the latter allowing for identification of the sample sources of the project.
